We're starting all over again with season 1. What hints does season 1 give for the role Bill plays in Sookie's future and his possible role in their break up. Does Bill just work for QSA? Is he an undercover agent for the AVL? Is Bill guilty of allowing Sookie to be beaten by the Rattrays or is he covering for something else? What's the real reason Bill forced his blood on Sookie? When did Bill fall in love? Does Bill dress to the right or left? Boxers or briefs? We'll try to answer all these questions and more.

Pfff.. so I messed up already cause I didn't just watch episode 1 but 2 as well. What will I do next week? This is hard. But getting on topic. That moment, the second night when he offers her his hand and they talk... Swoons...He is so obviously taken by her. It's all there already. Very intimate and sincere. This is where it started in my opinion. Also I loved the fact that Arlene is wearing the glow in the dark bracelets like that the girl in the opening credits. Do you find this valuable? |

He was doing his job. Also, I believe he really wanted to save her, thus "damn it, Sookie, do you wanna live or not". I'd say he fell in love around the time of their first love making, but was truly fascinated after their walk in the second episode. SHe did impress him a lot when she saved him, though, no doubt about it. I have a different question concerning season 1, but it's about episode 3, so I'm not sure I can post it now. :) Do you find this valuable? |

And you're right, let's leave epi 3 for later. Do you find this valuable? |

I was watching episode 8 last night and there is some hint as to Bill's guilt because during the pillow talk before Arlene showed up, Bill says "and the beauty and tragedy is that you don't know how different you are". He sounds like someone who has already fallen in love but has now gotten into a problem that can't be easily fixed.I do believe that Sookie was just an assignment to him at first and he did seem really able to leave her alone until she asked for him to help her about Fangtasia. I think seeing her with Sam at the DGD got him jealousthat it must have confused him because she is a human and he thought that he couldn't have any feelings for her until he started to have that nightmare about her being killed in Cold Ground. Although after she kissed him during their walk, he began to have second thoughts because he was trying to hide himself from her Do you find this valuable? |

I just got to say that I love the very first time we see Bill, when Sookie turns around at the bar and see him, and the camera is close and the background is turning black. And the music, I love the music!!!But the second time he is at the bar is epic. But I wonder why Bill went with the Rattrays in the first place? Was he looking for some action, or just hoping for some human blood? Do you find this valuable? |

But the henley tee is cute! so much to talk about...... Brunopia that is a good question: why did he go w/ the Rattrays' to begin w/. when I saw the epi last night. there was a flicker of a moment where it looks like Bill was staring at Denise's neck - i think maybe he thought he would feed on them or something. But then the trick was on him - or was it a trick? Do you find this valuable? |

I mean they were practically asking for his company, so he probably though it will be easy dinner for him ;) Do you find this valuable? |

There are several things I would like to comment on the first episode. First Bill looked very dark, dangerous, wild and unkept, his hair even looks greesy. Sookie is attracted to him like a moth to the light, she was completely drawn to him. When Sookie is listening to the Ratray's thoughts Bill knows something is up with them because he looks at Sookie and then gives the Ratrays a vampiric look. So why would Bill go outside with them? Bill can immediately tell she is not completely human, when he says "what are you" he stops calling her human and calls her mortal. I don't think he hired the Ratryas to beat her, but I don't think he was late to meet her. Could he have gone to see the Ratrays when he left the bar after making a date with Sookie so they would go and wait for her after work? was he that machiavelic then? have to go back to work will check on you guys later.

I think in episode 1 Bill saw Sookie as an assignment albeit a fascinating assignment. Sookie's excitement in meeting Bill and rescuing him from the Rattrays without wanting anything in return seems to be behaviour Bill is unfamiliar with.If I recall correctly Tru Blood was not available at the bar that night, leaving with the Rattrays was probably due to hunger and two willing participants. Personally I love the scene when Bill returns to Merlottes his sex appeal just radiates from his stance by the table, it is not hard to see why Sookie is drawn to him. Also I love the way Bill seems to glide between seductive vampire and old fashioned courtly behaviour in this scene, maybe to illustrate Bill's conflict between his orders and feelings long since unfamiliar. I will drop in tomorrow and scatter a few thoughts. I just looked at your profile, and now I am curious about your "unpronouncable" name. I love Irish names. Night, night. ok it's early but I just gotta say this now --Tara said Sookie told her it was love at first site, Sookie dreamed of Bill before she had any blood, they are instantly drawn to each other. THAT my dear Sookie is not Bill manipulating you into falling in love - that is pure, raw, unfiltered attraction, lust, fascination.........that can only be inspired by SM as himself or Bill. Remember that biatch!!! Be back in an hour! Do you find this valuable? |

One of the first things I noticed was Sookie telling the boy in Merlotte's "to get out of town while he can, she knows what's it's like to get stuck there." In season 2 she can't wait to go to Dallas, but Bill wants to stay at home ... and then in season 3 Sookie tells Bill she'd be happy to sit in front of the TV. She no longer wants excitement and that's all Bill's wanted all along ... a quiet life. Sookie blames Bill for the life she's leading now when in fact it's no one's fault but her own. She got what she wished for.

I noticed in the very beginning in the liqour store, Nan was being interviewed on tv by an other Bill. She was saying that all vamps are now safe to be around humans because they are all drinking Tru Blood. Talk about a lying hypocritical bureaucrat. JIMO Do you find this valuable? |
